MATALEÑAS
Mataleñas beach is located close to Cabo Menor, which can be accessed via the same avenue that offers access to the Cabo Mayor lighthouse. It occupies a cove sheltered by high cliffs, which means you have to climb a steep stairway with over 150 steps. The effort is worth it because Mataleñas is one of the most paradisiacal beaches in Santander, with beautifully colored water that often turns blue.
